I will be discussing the procedure, benefits and answering most FAQ's that most people ask all the time about eye lash extension. There are many different lashes that people are doing but when making the decision to get this fabulous procedure done make sure that you are going somewhere that is trained, and reputable. Many people ask me "Why should I pay $100+ on lashes when I can get it done for $25 or $75 somewhere else?" My answer to them is "You get what you pay for!". I hear countless stories of individuals who go to untrained lash technician because the cost is low. They receive a substandard set of lashes that is clumpy, painful, and often damaging to their lashes. A proper application is an exacting process that takes skill and time. If the cost is very cheap, you should certainly question the training of the technician as well as the quality of the product The cost of Eyelash Extension is $250-$600 depending on style and how many lashes are being applied. I will be discussing thoroughly the benefits and procedure of Individual lash extension.
What type of lashes do we use?
The eyelash extension that we use at Vedette are semi-permanent eyelash extension comprised of individual synthetic eyelashes that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash. They are applied to individual eyelash, one extension at a time, for a natural, elegant look to lengthen and add fullness to the existing lashes. These lashes should only be applied by a professional. A lot of places offer this service by people that are not professionally train. We use synthetic because synthetic lashes respond better to wear and tear than other materials. In addition, synthetics have the least possible chance of allergic reactions with human skin.
What do they look like and how do it feel?
With proper application our lashes look and feel completely real. Each application is customize to suit the individual. The lashes move with your natural lashes and as long as you keep up with the touch application, its almost impossible to tell that you are wearing the extension. The lashes that we use is a replica of an eyelash, it weighs about as much as a natural lash. You will not notice the addition of the extensions to your lashes and they will not cause your natural lashes to fall out ahead of their natural cycle as other enhancement methods can.
What are the benefits of wearing Eyelash Extensions?
Most woman choose to lengthen their natural lashes while others want their lashes fuller. The lashes create a younger appearance on many clients. The Eyelash Extension create the appearance of a brighter, more open and rested eye, thereby creating a more youthful and rejuvenated look. Above all, the main advantage is how much time you can save during your beauty regime. You spend less time with makeup; mascara is certainly no longer necessary.
How long do the eyelash extension last?
The look can be maintained indefinitely with refills. When properly applied, the lashes will remain in place until the natural lash rest to fall out. This can be as long as two months or more.
- Natural eyelashes grow in and fall out in cycles (every 60 to 90 days). People typically shed between 1 and 5 lashes each day, depending on their individual growth cycle. On shorter natural lashes, this growing and shedding cycle is virtually unnoticeable.
- With proper care and maintenance, touch ups are typically only needed once every 2 to 4 weeks to replace the lashes that have shed.
How long does the procedure take?
Depending on the number of lashes being applied, it generally takes between 90-150 minutes to apply a full set of Eyelash Extensions. Touch ups can be done in as little as 15 to 60 minutes.
